Hello!

My daughter has a disability and she needs visual instructions to learn. Can anyone direct me to a website or outlet where I can purchase action cards? Thanks.

  • Haven’t you got a disability assist programme in your area? Maybe make a Dr appt and ask him for info

  • yeah book club through school will have these or yeah try big w. you might find them in the toy section at woolies

  • I would try kmart / big w like many have suggested but also check out the smaller dollar shops etc as they have cute ideas that would be good to use etc.

  • I bought my action cards from Big W in the book section. I think Kmart also have them, near the children’s books.

  • I made these up for clients regularly. In word you can select basic images (or google the ones they don’t have), put them into the document, print them out, then you can buy a cheap laminator and laminate them. If you put a hole punch in them you can put them on a keyring and carry them with you everywhere

  • I always found Target, BigW and Kmart were good to buy action cards.

  • I’ve found some at target, newsagencys etc

  • If you can’t find any, I would try to make some yourself?

  • there are some good comments here

  • could eb games have some

  • u could try ebay .

  • I purchase mine from Big W, Kmart and also discount stores.

  • Sign language flash cards are for sale through lots of places, they sound like what you want.

  • Google search for Pecs cards. the find the picture you want and need to print yourself. I used that alot when my son was younger.

  • I would have a look at Any book stores they seem to have that sort of thing. :-)

  • I wish I could be of more help :(

  • Lots of good suggestions here. What about a local kinder? They might have some good resources too.

  • Have you tried the disability support network and ebay is always a good option.

  • I know some markets sell action cards. If you are in Melbourne Laverton market should do. Otherwise eBay may be a good option :)

  • there are lots of great teacher resource sites on Facebook
