Hard to know without knowing where you are. We look for attractions that also serve as a charitable donation: eg in the ACT Sids and Kids often work with an organisation to develop a holiday event for families.

Our local museum has a big dinosaur exhibition on through December to May next year. My grandson is dinosaur crazy so well take him along to see it.

up to you what you are interested in. aquariums, zoo and play centre’s are great fun for kids.

Hunter Valley Gardens for the Christmas lights! It’s so beautiful! I’m pretty sure they have a Santa some nights, and the gift shop is amazing as well!

Taronga Zoo is a must ,maybe Luna Park the next day,you need a day for each!
