Hello!

Was just wondering if anyone celebrated Christmas in July. I used to when the kids were young as it was around the same time as my Birthday it was fun

  • No I never have and to be honest. Is it like Christmas in December with gifts, Xmas trees and Santa ? I think I keep it by Christmas once a year

  • We do enjoy watching Christmas themed movies in July.

  • Yes! I love Christmas and I love to have a small Christmas in July on the school holidays. We just have a traditional roast lunch ( we usually have salads in December because its too hot) and I buy the kids one small gift each ( usually a craft activity or book that I know they’ll use over the holidays)

  • We do a mini Christmas. We still keep with the santa theme (just not as full on) and not too many pressies, but most of the birthdays are in Dec and Jan, so it helps break the drought and keeps them excited for Christmas coming up.

  • We used to at work but covid changed that and there are no longer events. It was always a bit of good fun!

  • No we don’t celebrate Christmas in July.

  • Normally I organise a Christmas in July for my workplace. We always dress up and have Christmas dinner etc, and because its in the middle of winter its really nice to imagine a white Christmas, and one that you arent in a tank top and flip flops.

  • I’ve never celebrated Christmas in July but might consider it when my kids are older

  • Once a year is enough for me and my family. I honestly don’t know when or why it came about!
I remember celebrating it once when I was younger as my dad worked with a lady from Bali and they apparently celebrate Xmas in July

  • We did last year but this year we are on a tighter budget as I’ve got to pay for extra things like swimming lessons and dancing.
Plus the kids have so much stuff already, I’d just be adding to the clutter!
If I more money and space I definitely would.

  • Nope. Christmas at Christmas is hard enough!

  • Never have and don’t know any one that does either

  • No, I never celebrated Christmas in July. To be honest I’m not ready to celebrate Christmas at all
