  • It can also be a good idea to network with other parents and carers of children in the dance class. Other parents and carers can be such a good source of information and tips. Of course the teacher and school is the first stop for information and then parents and carers.

  • Similar to the other comments from the other MoM members below; it is a very good idea to get this information from the dance school. They should be able to provide you with all of the information needed that is related to your child and the particular style of dance.

  • I would either ask the teacher, visit a library and ask the librarian (they may be able to direct you to a book), or just plain google what you want.

  • I would ask the dance teacher for a few basic exercises/stretches to practice each week.

  • Honestly id be asking the teacher to come up with a few stretches she can do at home or just following the ones she is doing in class at least that way she will have the technique right and not cause any injuries if she does things the wrong way. Charts can be a bit misleading.

  • It is probably better to ask her teacher about this as you need to be careful about what stretches are done and if they are done incorrectly it could cause more harm than good. I know when I asked my daughter’s teacher about practicing splits she advised against it. If they are given specific things in lessons to practice at home, that’s fine.

  • I am not sure where you would obtain a chart like this. I assume you have completed a google search, i would recommend also looking at Pinterest and even Instagram in case there is anything on there. I would also even reach out to a dance studio that offers kids classes to see if they have something that you could use.

  • Sorry I have no experience as such but personally I would just Google to start with and you will see many suggestions come up. Alternatively you could approach the instructor at her dance school and ask for her / his professional opinion and suggestions. Another thing you could do is observing the stretches they make in class and repeat those at home
