I would sing and talk but I’m not sure if it had any effect.

I used to sing “I love you baby, and if it’s quite alright….” but I don’t know that it had any particular effect on them after they were born.

I didn’t. But I used to regularly watch a tv show and after birth, whenever the show came on, my son would instantly quieten

It would have been too scarey for my babies to hear me sing. I did notice with my son, when we watched a regular nightly show that I had watched throughout my pregnancy, that he would stop whatever he was doing to just listen

I’m yet to give birth but will find out as I’m always singing away hehe

Yes – anything from lullabies and made up songs to my favourite songs of the time. I tried to sing the lullabies and songs I knew I’d be singing when my children were born hoping it would be soothing (both when inside and out) 🙂

Yes I did a lot, and once she was born she recognized and liked the same music and still does, it’s so cute!!

i played michael jackson music to my first one and she’s a huge MJ fan now 😛

I sung to all my children and played classical music to my belly via headphones, could be a coincidence, but all three of my children play instruments by passionate independent choice.

My daughter sung Twinkle Twinkle to my unborn baby, romance now we use this song as a soother.

No I never did but I can see how that would work.

I read the same two books to my little one in the womb and they were her favourites when she came out. I also watched Mary Poppins quite a bit and the music to this seemed to settle her.

As I knew the classic music is very good during pregnancy time.
