Hello!

Do any mums take dance classes? Are they good for keeping fit and being social and is the cost reasonable?

  • No but it always something that does appeal to me as l love dancing!

  • Zumba is fun and good for a workout, hip-hop is good for exercise too.

  • I used to do Zumba, does that count as dancing? It was fun, we all had a laugh, before we got too worn out :/ The cost was $10 a lesson, and they went for an hour, I live rurally so that could be why it was so cheap.

  • My kids and I put on the youtube just dance videos and copy the dance moves. I do personally prefer to go to a dance class – but this is because I was so into dancing when I was younger. Now I just find I don’t have the time to go and most of the lessons are at night with my husband working shift work I can’t make it then.

  • Ladies – Thanks for the answers on dancing! Will look into your suggestions and maybe even try them.

  • find out. what is expensive to me might not be to you. lots of ways to do this at home though. get the kids to teach you, play the kinect on xbox or look up a youtube tutorial. If you want to learn dancing and get fit, do it at home. Go to a class if you want to be good at dancing or you want to socialise.

  • I don’t attend a dance class but I do play Just Dance on the kids Xbox Kinect.
It’s great exercise, I don’t have to worry about looking silly in front of anyone & I can do it in the comfort of my own home.
The games are not overly expensive if purchased pre-owned from EB Games or Cash Converters.
Ebay also sell reasonably priced games.
