I still use them. A phone is very expensive to loose or damage and a real inconvenience that affects so much of life, but a ‘cheap’ camera is ideal for those trips where you might drop it, or get wet, or sand about. Also if you really need a phone and battery is an issue then these other gadgets help save its life

We use them! I bought a great camera instead of having a baby photo shoot (would have cost more for the baby shoot) and have never looked back.

I still use mine on trips or occasions but not really any other times it’s the convenience of a phone now

Pop them in a small box and put them away in the cupboard for another 6 months. If you haven’t used it by then, get rid of them!

It’s so hard when you’re cleaning things out, what to keep and what not to keep, I know one thing to ask yourself is his long has it been since you used it, and if it’s been so long you don’t remember, then it’s recommended you get rid of it. But I still struggle

Now that I have an iPhone, I must admit that I stopped using my digital camera. The iPhone makes better pictures.
I have a digital video-camera though, and even if it’s more inconvenient to use than an iPhone, I still love it and use it at school concerts for example. No fear of running out of batteries.

If you do decide to move them on – maybe a collector would buy them or like them?

I only ever use my phone now for photos and to video and find the quality just as good as my old camera. I would sell them, but like you say…..not sure if you’ll get much for them, but at least they’ll be gone

I love both and would never get rid of them and we do use them.

We use our camera still but it does video as well. I didn’t use my old camera but I have a better one now. I’d say you’re unlikely to use it if you haven’t in a year.
