The more time goes on and there are more and more attacks, the more frightened I get.

it could happen anywhere, anytime but the thing is, that i don’t want to live my life in fear. Hopefully nothing more will happen, but realistically it is possible. We just have to keep doing what we do and pray for an end to conflict.

I must say I do feel more uneasy about going to big events, but then again some of the attacks in Paris happened at local restaurants. I guess that was meant to make people feel uneasy no matter where they are.

It does cross my mind, but I’m one of those that thinks ‘Nah, it won’t happen here.’ My hubby works in hospitality and they’ve had staff training on how to deal with suspicious packages/bags, terrorists etc. So it’s definitely on our doorstep

it is hard to say – with the media immediately reporting on so many things like this it does put people on high alert. but I think how many times over the years have their been attacks, killings and similar that either don’t get reported on or aren’t as highly publicised. It is definetly important to be vigilant because we know of the threat but I don’t think it is something to overreact about.

Good on everyone for not being scared by these people and for getting on with our lives.

I don’t want to get scared because of what happened in Paris. I think that’s what the terrorists want. For us to become scared!

Not for me – I am still very happy to continue on as normal – the vast majority of people and places are extremely safe and the likelihood of anything happening that is terror related is extraordinarily low. Whilst we have no international travel plans at the moment, this would not preclude us from making some in future.

No, I do not feel anxious about security and refuse to be scared by their actions. I have been to Paris and will go again as it is a beautiful city and the people of Paris are strong and resilient. I made a point of going out over the weekend and attending a public event as an act of community.
