I always have Chlorsig 1% in house. You can buy it over the counter at the chemist and it comes in eye drops and cream. Make sure you have for each child their own drops or cream, no sharing. And I have a box of individual wrapped sterile eye wipes for cleaning

BLACK tea!! A strong cup of black tea (like a few bags) let cool, get a cotton ball, wipe inside out and then bin and repeat (this prevents recontamination) if nothing works see a GP
