Hello!

I’m arranging a birthday party on 9 December for my lg (turning 6) and lb (turning 2) who share a birthday on Christmas day. I’d like a western theme (cowboys and cowgirls) and would like to find out if anyone knows where I can get party props from (bale of hay, wagon wheel, old saddle etc etc). We don’t want to spend a heap but want to make it extra special for our Christmas babies, does anyone have any birthday party ideas?

  • Google, Google, Google! Ahahaha
I always Google things like this as there are often endless party prop places around.
You can also try places like the Base Warehouse as they have heaps of party props for cheap.

  • lasso things, sack races, get someone who cracks whips

  • We did that for a 1 st bday. It was great. The hay bale went over a treat! You can usually get them from pet/farm supply stores.

  • How was your birthday party idea?

  • Depending on where you live, some locals may be able to help with hay etc. Google will bring up some good sites, you can head to your local party supplies shop and dont forget the discount stores! ie red dot, crazy clarks, reject store!

  • I hope it went well!

  • Hope you managed to come up with some great ideas.

  • Go to a $2 shop e.g Crazy Clarks,The Reject shop always check the second hand shops e.g Vinnies etc first they usually have a dress up section & wash purchases in Nappy San Another idea is to have it at McDonalds & tell them u want a Cowboy & Cowgirl theme We have parties at McDonalds & they are always a success

  • Whooo hooo party time buy a large block of plain chocolate family size. Now freeze it yes freeze it …. The day of the party. You need a dice a plate a knife. And folk. Oh and the block of frozen chocolate… Kids sit around chocolate in the middle.. Birthday person first … Okay they roll the dice and and if the lol a six they grab the plate with the chocolate on it and they start to unwrap and then cut the chocolate one square at a time before the next person rolls a six , then when the next person rolls a six they grab the plate… But they can only use the knife and folk and are only allowed one square at a time….
