  • I totally get wanting to keep it simple and practical. For me, I love giving small stocking fillers that are thoughtful and useful. Maybe something like a cute set of cozy socks or a nice hand cream. They’re things we all need but can’t always justify buying for ourselves. I also like picking up little treats, like chocolates or a fun lip balm. It’s just those little things that bring a smile. And I think a small, pampering gift like a scented candle or a reusable coffee cup could be lovely too. Something that says, “I’m thinking of you” without breaking the bank. What do you usually go for when it’s time for stocking stuffers?

  • It depends on the person. If you know their interests just get small things that they can use.. from craft to sports, to reading book interests. I’m sure there are endless possibilities. But what I don’t like is generic buying for the sake of it. There is enough landfill already and most will end up there if it’s not useful.

  • Retro games from kmart $5 last year for jenga and coits etc

  • Buy a smaller stocking and put bigger presents

  • buy a large packet with different figures/characters etc and then separate them into smaller presents.

  • Books are always a winner here

  • Foods such as shortbread biscuits, wafers, jams, chocolates.

  • For my husband i got socks, platypus had a sale on for vans socks i think it was 6 pairs for $30 and thats his stocking full.
My stocking is filled with Sheet face masks and lotions all from kmart.
For the kids i use waterbottles and theres like a cheap section of kmart where everything is like $3. I also get the little lego sets and that normally does the trick

  • Kmart have a kris kringle section and they had gifts were suitable for adults and children. ranging from $3 to $20 lots around the $5 mark. things like these retro record coasters and quiz games and a box of charades for $7. etc etc.

  • Smellys, socks or undies.
    Magazine or book

  • Love all of these ideas and mum90758 – your suggestions and in particular honey macadamias has won me over!

  • Small sudoku books, pens, a portable charger for the mobile phone, honey macadamias…

  • Depends on the person as always personal is nicer but any special food items you know they love ie nougat, chocolate, fancy chips. Personal care you can get cheap on special like handcreams etc. If they are coffee fanatics a keep cup, nice coffee or even a coffee voucher from a different cafe. Books are also another good one or stationary

  • Thanks for stocking filler suggestions – have some rather large stocking to fill and these items sound good for fillers.

  • Lots of things can make great sticking fillers for adults like chocolates perfume for females aftershave for males body products are great like body wash soaps hand creams even little scented candles
