Yes I have a small collection of my daughter’s baby things that I felt were special or sentimental. The rest I gave to my brother for his children.

I don’t think I’ve kept any of my son’s baby items. I did think about it, but would end up hoarding by accident.

My mother did for my brothers & I, now I’ll be doing the same for my bub. I also find it’s a good place to keep all the important documents to like birth certificate etc.

Yes I do this too. But I’m a bit of a hoarder anyway.

So far I’ve kept my sons hair from first hair cut.
His wrist bands from hospital
First pair of shoes.
Birthday cards
Congratulations cards
And I had his hands and feet scalptered and put in a frame.

We have moved quite a few times since my children have been born and made the tough decision to let a few things go. I did however decide to keep the outfit they came home from the hospital in, their hospital id tag and the card on their crib. I have also kept their first birthday cards.

I have kept keepsakes in a special little box which is well preserved.

And I think that’s indeed the reason why we keep them. 🙂
I’ve still got all my daughter’s baby teeth!

I kept a lot of my kids baby things. My son has recently become a dad and I excitedly passed on all his clothes. Nothing was worn as my son was a summer baby and his son was a winter baby. By the time summer rolls around he won’t fit into the clothes I gave 🙁 I also kept (didn’t pass on) their first shoes, locks of hair from first hair cuts, first tooth lost. I tried to keep my sons umbilical cord, but was unsuccessful. I have the positive pregnancy test for my daughter too. Things I’m sure will get grown out when I’m gone :,( but give me joy while I’m still here

Yes, I do. Some special clothes for example, her first toys… I even have a piece of the wallpaper covering her room. with all the little bears. 🙂
