I used to love op shopping for the best bargains; but recently, bargains are hard to come by. There are cheap brands of clothing that are selling for more than what they would have originally sold for, or in average condition and still asking for $20+. It seems such a waste that people would rather buy new than recycle old clothes hence why there is so much clothing waste in the world.

I don’t really go to them as I usually shop for second hand stuff online as it’s more convenient for me time wise and I won’t really be able to browse properly with two little kiddos with me.

Yes, I love a good browse and you need to search what you want . I don’t like the shoes as some are really old and have been on people’s feet unless you snag a relatively new one . The best ones are Vinnies and Salvos .

yeah it is pretty cool but i don’t go. i find that you can get brand new shirts from big w cheaper than the op shop.

I love op shops. I have bought very good quality items from op shops over the years. One thing I do not buy from the op shop is my shoes. I have to have orthothic (sic) type shoes. Shopping at op shops has saved me lots of money.

I manage to get designer clothes at a fraction of the price at op shops.

Yes I do. Not regularly, but sometimes I go and look for some good bargain. And I must admit that I generally do.

I am a regular at ops shops and have found some absolute treasures and good clothes too. It is a fun time as well and the staff are always so lovely and up for a good chat.

Yeah we have a mission op shop here and its awesome about 80% of the products are brand new from liquidation shops that couldn’t sell and get them at very low prices.

Occasionally I do – you need to find an op-shop that you like – some are far better than others.
