Hello!

I myself keep my house very clean. Just wondering if you have ever walked into friends houses and noticed how the house is not just messy but hygiene in the house is very poor. I will give an example- toilet, sinks, showers and grime. We had a friend who was male and boasted so much about his property and what he had that we went over and I met his wife after he invited our family for dinner. To my horror the house was full of grime. Have you had this happen before?

  • I may notice when it’s very messy and dirty, but don’t jump to conclusions

  • I don’t judge others and I hope that they don’t judge me, either

  • I do kinda notice little things. But I don’t judge anyone for it, we all live as we need to

  • I only notice if they really belong on an episode of hoarders. Otherwise life’s too short to spend it obsessively cleaning.

  • All the time! And I used to wonder how they kept things so clean and organised. Then I realised they probably do what I do when expecting visitors and have a quick whip around cleaning so everything is sparkling

  • Iam an OCD when it comes to cleaning but I don’t judge others like I have friends whose houses are not that clean and tidy but what do I do some people work full time some clean on weekends some wait for cleaners exct

  • I don’t judge other peoples homes or expect other people to judge mine.

  • I don’t like to judge as we all leave busy lives!

  • Nope not really an untidy house isn’t a big deal for me.
Only time I would really judge (but never tell them as its rude) if it was filthy. As in food left everywhere dirty dishes, pet poop or something all over the floor.

  • Absolutely! Their are homes we refuse to eat at because of their hygiene. Rich or poor, you find dirty buggers. Ew!

  • yep, all the time but our house is always messy and there are always jobs to do, so I can’t really judge….I think a messy house, is a well used and loved house….
grime and dirt are harder to take…. especially animals who live mostly in the house… these houses I am a bit anal with hand sanitiser and soap,….there is definitely a difference between a messy house and a dirty house…..

  • mine is really bad. don’t come here!! I get jealous of my friends clean houses. wish I could have a cleaner. never dusted in my life.

  • i do if it is really dirty but if it is messy I think its great to see a lived in home

  • well if their things need bleach and i was using it (taps etc) then i would notice that. i don’t mind if you have clutter (blame the kids lol) or unmatching things or old decor.

  • yes I do, some people don\’t take pride in their homes

  • I don’t really pay attention

  • I do notice but mainly only when things are really dirty (not just clutter or untidy but when you can tell someone is struggling to keep things clean)

  • I look, I notice and I comment to others

  • i try and keep my house clean, but some people tend to get a bit messy but maybe they just didn’t have any time and maybe spent more time together

  • To be honest it would be the last thing I look at as I barely have time to do my house looking after my two ,.. If people don’t like it then tough ! Spending time with my kids is more important
