We always just bought a cubby-house online or at Bunnings which only needed to be assembled

Ooohhh, not actually building one with timber. We’ve made some awesome ones with sheets and blankets inside.

Bunnings had a wealth of those kinds of simple plans, as well as some enthusiastic staff to give advice

Our plans have been put on hold. We need to move but if I find some I will let you know.

I have been chatting about this question and possibly places like Bunnings offer sessions on how to do this and that? May be worth looking into? Good Luck! 🙂
