When my brother was little, my great-grandmother used to sing a song to him, which went something like this … “Underneath a table on the kitchen floor, on a sofa upside down, happy and contented we adore, the little king without a crown. He’s a little trouble-maker, when it’s time to go upstairs, begging for that extra minute, when it’s time to rest his sleepy head”. I’m not sure if those are the exact words, but if not, it’s very similar to that, and I’m pretty sure there’s more words to the song than I’ve written. Does anyone know this song, and all the words to it? My great-grandmother is no longer with us, so I can’t ask her. I’ve Googled it, but can’t find any reference to it. any help would be appreciated.
