I had virtually no symptoms- the only thing that made me think ‘maybe’ was when I was doing sit ups my stomach felt a little sensitive and I just didn’t feel comfortable doing them so I stopped (other than being late for my period which is nothing unusual for me as I am quite irregular). I was actually booked into the family planning clinic that week because we had been trying for 6 months and no luck- it was at the clinic that I found that I that I was pregnant!
As strange as it might sound, (other then the late period) I had a pain in my groin. It felt like it it was being stretched, would come and go for a few days. Happened each time I was pregnant.
Mine was that I couldn’t stomach meat for my first baby now 10 and I just had this feeling of actually being well and happy in my emotions and not to be silly but I actually found myself smiling a lot without even thinking about it. Food was another thing altogether and yes was sick but only till realized what foods made me sick if I didn’t eat that then felt great.
I knew when ovulating, as soon as I had sex I felt like firework, like a bang, difficult to explain, but I knew I was pregnant. 4 children, same with each one. Long time ago but I still remember very well.
My only thought was due to late period, but I’ve often ran late, sometimes up to 5 weeks.. My husband was convinced I was pregnant about 3 weeks before we received confirmation, 3 negative tests still didn’t deter him.. I was lucky enough not to experience any sickness, just fatigue..
I stopped smoking when about two weeks, being near smokers made me very nauseous.there were certain foods that gave the same reaction from very early in my pregnancy. I also found myself very thirsty in the first two months and water with lime juice was the only drink that stopped the thirst.
