Folding is difficult and boring. I fold it as i pick from the line or hang the ones that need to he hanged. Makes it easier and doesnt need ironing then either.

Folding is something I do straight from the washing line into my wash basket and I try to iron as little as possible.

No wonder you’re having trouble with getting the kids to fold clothes, it is boring. Kids aren’t that great at folding either

Folding well can be quite hard for kids. We have held “folding lessons” and I made a tool for my kids to help them fold. A reward for doing their chores can help indeed.

Maybe you could do a sticker on their chore chart and when you’re folding, get them to put on some of their favourite music and make it fun. Singing and dancing is a better way to fold clothes!

I have 3 baskets because it was given to me by my brother . Maybe give them a basket each and tell them to fold their clothes in their own basket then they can take it to their bedrooms to put away .

yes make it fun and if you have rewards charts, these are jobs that get them stars. show them how to do it properly and good luck!. also don’t be afraid to hang everything on coat hangers. saves folding and the kids can pass you things to hang up. i find that the kids can see exactly what they want to wear vs digging through the whole lot and messing it all up EVERYDAY!

Mine only helps fold when we are the clothes line together – i take the washing down, she folds it and puts it into the basket.
