Hello!

Hi. I’m an aunty to two beautiful girls aged 2 and 7. I am looking after them for the weekend so my sister and her husband can have some time to themselves, and I was just wondering what type of activities I could do with them. We live in Sydney if that helps. Thanks.

  • Sensory play is always a hit with little ones, playdough, sand, rice ect.

  • The Zoo is always a winner with my children. They can go over and over always.

  • Don’t know about your area, but for some indoor time, you could do some salt dough prints with them, or painting, sticker pictures ect…
And for outdoor you could do some bubble/foam fun, play under a sprinkler, maybe do some planting with them if you are keen for that.
Hope you and your nieces have a great weekend!!

  • Playdoh, swimming, painting, crafts, baking, minus he heat. :)

  • Darling Harbour has so much to do for kids, luna park is a great theme park as well.

  • local indoor pool is good for hours of fun and will tire them out for you! baking cupcakes, cake or biscuits decorate them and have a tea party, have a play at the park and some hot chips for lunch, go to the movies at home with some microwave popcorn and comfy blankets.

  • dance class, craft classes or just stay home and play games

  • Music and dancing are the two things that could occupy my girls all day long!

  • some great ideas to try, it’s hard to keep any kids amused for more than 5 minutes.

  • making things, drawing playing out side

  • there are some good comments here

  • These are the most fun sounding activities!

  • Play ground is always a winner, hair and make up, dress ups, painting.

  • girly day nails hair make up.

  • A trip to the park. Movie date. Dress ups. Make tye dye shirts??? ;)

  • Take them for a trip to the beach.

  • They will be excited to be with you for a start.
you could bake cookies…pick one that will need the cookie dough to be rolled in your hands and that will keep the kids occupied for a while.
    Make playdough
    Go for a walk
    Have a movie night
If its raining make indoor forts with blankets over the dining table
Just remember what you liked to do when you were a kid.

  • Skate parks, play grounds, swimming pool, maccas, toy shop, water pistols, bubble mix, make cookies, kids movie at home (2 year old wont stay still long enough)

  • Forget the movies , Taronga Park Zoo , picnic, sunshine outdoors unforgettable. My nieces remember my outings with them from 1968!!!!

  • I owuld love to play pretend with them… like in a restaurant, a chef cooks etc…
