Books are always popular and I always buy more from book fundraisers than anything else!

Our school is a very small school, but with hard work we raise a decent amount money. We have a market gate sake twice a term selling home made good and plants and eggs from the school garden. A magic show proved popular last year, along with school discos.

I recently held a raffle for our local cricket club. I got local businesses to donate items to vouchers, and some not quite so local businesses. The players took books of tickets to sell and they were placed in local businesses. Tickets sold for $1 each or 3 for $2. Didn’t make heaps of money, but quite a bit. You could also have car wash, cake stall

I know Veggie Smugglers offer her books as a fundraiser. Entertainment Books are a good one too.

Bright star labels do stick on name label fundraisers, good for so,thing different.

The “fun runs” were always great not just for the money but all students and teachers had fun on “fun run day”!!

Casual days for students or crazy hair
Not sure where you are located but some book stores will do book fairs and a percentage of what is spent comes back to you in dollars to spend on books for the school library.
You could also a a fashion parade night making your money through entrance fees and holding saddles on the night.
Lots of different things as alternatives to chocolate drives like bulbs, lolly bags and slices that you order the same as the chocolate boxes.

Get the kids to do laps around the oval. People then sponsor the kids eg: $1 per lap or $2 whichever. Have a garage sale, including sausage sizzle & make treats to sell like toffees, slices, cupcakes etc

raffles, lapathons, fun runs and the good old choccy drive

our daycare has family photo potrait fundrasier you pay $15 and get one enlgarged photo with the option to buy additional photos or package on disc. The $15 goes to the daycare.
Trivia nights are always a hit, a lot of work but can raise good $$$. Some good ideas having a trivia night is you can offer teams to buy dots at the start of the night each dot cost $1 and they can use that for an answer they dont know (only one dot allowed per round) if all teams by ten dots ($10) if there are ten teams boom! there is $100 straight away.

you could hold a sausage sizzle at lunch time or sell icey poles our school does them for $1 each and it is $7 for 48 so that is a good profit. Also you could organise a school movie night or disco night in the school gym or even a car boot sale and they pay for a spot at school per car park bay and they sell what they want and make what ever money they want. if you have a big oval this could generate a lot of money. $10 a car.

Have a raffle I reckon. Or a draw of some kind.

Car wash, fancy dress days where they bring a gold coin donation, maybe you could buy something in bulk to sell it off at cheap prices. School fete.

our school is successful with the disco nights and sales of glow sticks bracelets etc at door, icy poles and popcorn on wed & fri for sale, Easter raffles & Mothers Day lunch for the Mums/Nannas is $15 or so a head (we get 3 course lunch served by the kids), Fathers Day BBQ breakfast $7 a head for Dads/Grandpas & kids, and the fete is great, kids get wristbands for the rides & lots of stalls and yummy food (all donated by school community)
