Hello!

Fundraising ideas – The children’s dancing school are trying to raise funds for a trip overseas to perform (the children are so super excited). We are looking to fund raise as much as we can to subsidise the trip for everyone.  Any suggestions appreciated (we are looking into the chocolate option ). Thanks MOMs.

  • Maybe a Bunnings sausage sizzle!

  • Raffles are a great way to raise money. Ring local businesses and ask if they would like to donate any products or vouchers. And sausage sizzles are always popular

  • Selling charity chocolates sounds like your best option then. Or get mums to make some. Then there’s sausage sizzles, raffles, guess the number of lollies in the jar, fun run

  • Biscuits or lamingtons! Bunnings sausage sizzle

  • have a carnival themed night

  • Fundraising is such a competitive industry these days! I guess I like the idea of offering a practical service like a car was or even a plant sale

  • there are lots of different ones like selling cookie dough, plant bulbs and having a sausage sizzle, raffle, bake sale or disco

  • hold a trivia night and a raffle, ask for donations. most people have things in their cupboards that they have never opened

  • chocolates or lamington drives are good options

  • Contact your local movie theatre and see what they can do. Many will organise a special deal for kids movies where a fixed amount from each ticket is given to the organisation. Sell the tickets where ever you can. Better than a raffle as everyone gets a prize :)

  • maybe google some ideas :)

  • You could do something fun and social like a car wash? cake stall? sausage sizzle? (the bunnings ones?) or get the mums and their friends on a shopping tour?

  • Contact Cadbury as they have a good reputation at fundraising ideas.

  • What did you end up doing for the fundraiser?

  • all good hints, car wash is great too,

  • I am always a sucker for cookies, chocolates and lollies :)

  • Some really great suggestions. Hope you found some helpful.

  • Some really great ideas there.

  • Have a craft market, there are probably alot of crafty mums in the school who would love to donate items for your cause.

  • I love the disco idea someone mentioned as goes with the dancing link well. I would assume the bunnings bbq would be a good earner, they are normally pretty popular. what about selling chocolates??
