My daughters hair is the same. We’ve been trying Fairy Locks from maple and wattle which is helping. It smells nice and sweet so she likes having the “special spray” on and it has made the brushing process a lot easier

Buy a detangler spray and leaving it in over night also try putting conditioner in it and leaving in overnight as well.

I used to buy a hair detangler. It comes in a spray bottle and from memory is made by Johnson and Johnson. Worked a treat

I make up a spray of diluted conditioner and use a wide tooth comb

Use a hair treatment once a week or fortnight and that should help so much!

Sounds like my daughters. I prefer to use thick hair treatment then plait it. That way I can get away with leaving it in for a couple of days If I just dont have the patience. Im a hairdresser and im used to unruly hair but geez…..shes killing me.

Johnsons no more tangles is what we used for my sister. Perhaps plait hair before bed so it doesn’t get so knotty

Funnily enough I have never used brushes on my children’s hair or even on my own . I like to use the wide tooth combs ( the ones with the long handles and wide solid combs ) that detangles hair very easily and if it is a brush which I am currently using it is the ones with wider spikes ( not the bushy ones ). I personally think the more teeth a brush has the more harder it is to brush . You might need a wide tooth comb on your daughters to detangle the strands separately rather than brushing it . There’s a Palmolive one I use, it’s amazing and no tears as well, It’s just like water when it sprays in your eyes.

I use an adult intensive conditioner with my 4yos hair. I use a detangling comb. Coconut oil can help, but only a little bit. I trim her hair and cut that segment just a little but shorter as a layer.

My daughter is exactly the same. Some mornings I would be worried the neighbours would hear her! If you don’t mind cutting it a bit shorter I find that helps a lot with having less tangles.

I have found I high conditioner with silicon helps with the tangles. Use a wide tooth comb and comb through when her hair is wet. It is less hurtful and the next day. The silicon seems to keep the hair in more control. Hope that helps.

Bit of coconut oil rubbed in at bedtime might help in the morning.

buy detangler or make your own with a little conditioner added to water and mousse to help style the curls. sounds like she needs a haircut–just get it trimmed, layered and thinned out and don’t let the apprentice cut it because you need to know how to cut it to keep the curl

You can get spray or lotion conditioners which you can apply in the morning, and that will help you comb her hair.

Oh my goodness my daughter is the same I am nearly ready to shave her head. She is so good at the hair dressers and I go there about once a month for them to brush her hair and braid it so atleast it looks descent for about a week. the strawberry spray doesn’t even help with my daughter at home.

I actually went looking for some hair product for my one year old recently and did see a kids ‘de-tangler’ product, I cannot recall the brand though. Aslo is her hair long enough to tie up at night? thats what I have to do

When brushing start at the bottom and work your way up!

Plait it before bed tie then its a bit easier in the morning
