Forum Has anyone elses husband had a failed vasectomy?

We’ve just found out my husband’s vasectomy failed after two years.we had a failed pregnancy. Has anyone else been through this

  • I did not know this was a possibility how scary.

  • Eeek! Hasn’t happened to us. Hubby had his done a few months ago. Hope it worked.

  • No….but I know of a Mum whose Tubal Litigation failed. I have another relative as a result of it.

  • My husband got a vasectomy approx. 12 months ago. Hasn’t failed yet. I’m hoping it wont. I have heard stories where it has happened though.

    Get him back to a GP so it can hopefully be recified in the way you both want x

  • NO NEVER, I always thought the would of been picked up in the check up they do a few months after they do the snip.. That is a heartache you didnt need.. so sorry for your loss.xx

  • Never happened to us, but have heard of it happening quite a lot

  • I’m so sorry. No, I haven’t experienced ths, but I believe it’s surprisingly common.

  • No – we have not had this occur; but it has happened to people we know.

  • Unfortunately I’m not sure I’d mind if it did fail.
