Was so excited to discover IGA has these Scotch Finger biscuits available in their Black & Gold range for such a great price! I was able to make this delicious caramel slice for the family & the biscuits were perfect.

Look, I’m always worried it just won’t be the same but to my surprise, these Black and Gold Scotch Finger Biscuits dunk so well in my afternoon coffee! I’ve used them as a base for cheesecake too and it was yummy! This is definitely a new weekly buy, good value and great taste.

Great product , reasonably priced and no different to the branded version. I used them on an Easter fudge recipe, size of biscuit and taste was great. They chopped well and kept well in the fudge and remained fresh and crunchy. I most definitely will purchase these again for a treat with a cuppa !

Also, they conveniently fit into the little compartments in my kids lunch boxes. They are a great price and easy to store in the pantry for snacking emergencies – will buy again.

These black and gold scotch finger biscuits are the absolute bees knees! Perfect on their own or in a nice delicious cup of coffee or hot choccy specifically a hot milo in my case! These remind me of heading to my grandparent’s House sitting by the back yard table on the patio playing rummy or solitaire having a warm drink and a biccy. After moving all day all I wanted was a cup of tea and a biscuit. I love scotch fingers but only buy Arnotts. Black and gold version were better than Arnotts and I couldn’t believe it. So good

however, they polished off the packet of these.
I stashed these away to have with a coffee,
and by the time I actually went to have one,
they had been demolished.

Scotch Finger biscuits are my favourite plain biscuit. These Black and Gold Scotch Finger biscuits are sweet and are melt in your mouth texture, just like any other brand. They don’t crumble apart in the packet, are firm but buttery and yummy. Yes, you can make them yourself, easily, but why would you want to at less than $2 a packet – it’s excellent value for money. I’d be happy to continue to purchase the Black and Gold Scotch Finger Biscuits in the future.

I used the black and gold scotch finger biscuits in the base of a cheesecake I was making. The biscuits had a nice buttery sweet flavour and held their form well in the base of the cheesecake. I even ate a few will I was cooking and they were really lovely on their own so I would happily buy them again to have with a cup of tea.

My toddler and wife loved these Scotch Fingers, they went down a treat! I think the second we purchased them in store my toddler wanted to eat one, they didn’t last the car journey home! These scotch finger style biscuits did not last more than five minutes in my household once opened. With a slight softness to them they go perfectly with a cup of tea, or with a bit of butter and spread….that is if you can get any before hungry teenagers do. Definitely winner in our home

Almost identical to the original brand of these biscuits. Had we not had the OG to compare side by side maybe I wouldn’t have been able to tell but there is a slight differnce in taste. The Black and Gold brand does taste less buttery maybe but none the less still just as great and value for the price.

You would never know that these are the IGA home brand product. They taste and look exactly the same as the arbitrary brand. Buttery and crunchy and easy to break into two to dip in your morning tea. The only thing I would change is the packaging which is a bit boring but otherwise a great try!

I recently purchased the Black & Gold Scotch Finger Biscuits (250g). I thought they were a little dry but overall, a good budget friendly option. Would be a great option to use in deserts, biscuit bases, etc. Kids also enjoyed eating them as is and in lunch boxes. I would purchase again.

These aren’t as tasty as other brands I’ve tried. They don’t have the same buttery flavour. They would be good to use as an ingredient for the base of a slice, cheesecake or other dessert but for something to just have with a cuppa, I would probably reach for something else.

These Scotch Finger Biscuits do not taste buttery at all they mainly taste like a plain Biscuit very dry.
The health star rating is very poor at 1 star. The only plus I can see for these biscuits is that there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. I would not buy these biscuits again.

Only a few packets left on the shelf and most were crushed and you could hear the crumbs when gently shaken. I chose the one that I believed had the least broken bickies.
Enjoyed with a hot cuppa and kept the rest in a container. Will use the crumbs in baking. Pleased and price point is excellent.

Didn’t really taste anything enjoyable.l or exciting.Where ok with a coffee but nothing exciting about them. Good price but not something I would buy again.. poor health rating!
