Update as i was the one who posted this question! I ended up getting the sleeve in mid novemeber 2020, I’ve had no complications and have lost 50 kilos! I have supassed my goal and now down to 67 kilos!

Would highly reccomend everyone that is looking into getting it done to make an appointment with a surgeon to discuss. I feel like a new person and loving my new body.

I know one friend who lost a lot of weight with it but didn’t change any of her eating habits so put a lot of weight back on after it was removed.

Two people I’ve worked with have had this surgery.
They really enjoyed the weight loss at the time but have now put it back on. Not to the extreme They were before the surgery but more than when they would have liked.
The problems they encountered was eating out. A lot of food went to waste and most places didn’t let them order kids meals. Also, they had to get further surgery with their skin sagging.

A friend of mine had it done and lost heaps of weight. She is very happy and hasn’t had any major issues but it has only been just over 12 months so can’t say what the long-term outcome will be.

My daughter in law had it and she lost far too much weight and has had nothing but problems.
