My mum used to be able to knit just about anything including socks from memory. Unfortunately I could never get the hang of it. I’d try googling sock instructions.

I can knit a scarf but that is about it!

Ive knitted socks on just 2 knitting needles. Have a look on google, that’s where I found my pattern

I haven’t but my sister reckons she has the easiest pattern ever …. however, it’s five pages and I don’t know how to upload here ….. does anyone know if we can, in fact, upload a document here??

I have been looking for easy things myself to teach me how to knit or crochet, I came upon these two the other day as my neighbour was knitting socks. They appear to be straight forward and informative and with lots of tips. Hope this helps

I’ve knitted a lot of socks but am Dutch and found it very hard to explain/translate in English what to do. It’s easier then you think. For many the most tricky part might be knitting the heel, which is just a matter of picking up stitches and decrease them again whilst you knit around.

I have knitted a lot of garments but haven’t tries socks yet.
Ravelry is a large knit & crochet community, you can find them online, they also have a forum for knitters to exchange know-how, as well as free socks patterns on offer.
Give it a go and you may get a lot of help there.

I’ve just knitted some little socks for my 9 week old grandson. I didn’t use multiple needles, just 2 normal needles. I will have to dig the pattern out for you and get back to you

I’ve got some old knitting books that have patterns my grandmother used but I can’t knit myself unfortunately so have no idea how to read them hehe
