I didn’t use a wedding planner and enjoyed all the legwork in organizing our wedding, but it was a lot of work so I can see the benefits of hiring a wedding planner.
I didn’t but my sister in law did and she said it was the best thing, didn’t have to worry about anything. They had one here in Australia and had one in Chile also when she went back to visit her family. She loved it and it was a little on the expensive side but she said it was worth it as for having a wedding for my brother’s side of the family and then for her side of the family that couldn’t come to Australia.
Used a wedding planner. Best investment ever!. We rushed our wedding due to family health issues and us deciding to get married in 14 weeks. Planned for 200 guest and our planner had everything done in 2 weeks, so we could relax up to the day. Didn’t have to worry a bit about anything..planner took care of it all. Came up with amazing cost saving ideas, that didn’t take away from what our expectations was. Not only happily paid but bought them an amazing gift to thank them.
I’ve never used one, never been married and never plan to be. I think they would be good fir someone who has no idea on style, such as myself, but no idea if they are value fir money
We didn’t, but I like to be in control of organising things, so using one wasn’t for me. I must say though, that if I was planning an event at a location I was not familiar with, then I am sure using a planner would be fantastic.
