December is when I make my Christmas purchases. Kids can and will change their minds about what they like.

I shop throughout the year for small things, but the bigger presents I buy relatively close to Christmas.

When I found out my son his partner and my grandson would be here for Xmas, I started buying. I finished a few weeks ago, but will no doubt keep on picking up bits and pieces for my grandson. Only issue I’ve found with buying early is it’s hard to return things so far down the track. So I hope I’ve bought gifts everyone will be happy with

I shop throughout the year. You can grab some great deals on things during non peak times. The problem is hiding it all but doing it this way saves so much money!

I buy through out the year when there are sales and therefore doesn’t cost as much at the end of the year and also that I have got them for bargain prices instead of full price

I used to leave it all last minute but always found it stressful and spent more than I meant to. For the last few years, I’ve shopped throughout the year, snapping up the perfect gifts when they are on sale and as my budget allows. Here we are in January and I have already put away the perfect gift for one of my nephews, a bargain in the after-Christmas sales and something I had hunted for quite a while to find last year.

this year we went the week before christmas and it is all in 2 hours! A record!!

I think it is worse now because there a lot of new year sales and bargains that are everywhere !!

All done which is a great feeling,we do our’s in December and also lay-by!

The most important thing to do is to stick to a budget regardless of when you do your shopping.

A bit of both gets the job done and kind of keeps the budget intact!

I think it is good to keep an eye for things around the year especially if you know that at the end of the year you will be tearing your hair and wallets out . Unless of course , your family and/or friends decide to do Secret Santa or Kris Kringle .. that way you only buy one good gift . This year I made it easy as just did some gift vouchers as there was a “hint ” and we did a lucky dip for the inlaws, whooever wants a gift, buy a secret lucky dip .

I buy presents throughout the year and near Christmas too as you can get some good bargains. I also love the atmosphere of Christmas shopping and the decorations in the shops and the Christmas carols.

Since the beginning of November I’ve started thinking about Christmas and slowly bought all the gifts. I hate the last-minute rush!
