  • Fruit platters, cheese platter with crackers, nuts, hummus dip with vegetable sticks, boiled eggs, spring rolls, protein chocolate balls (I make them with coconut, dates, nuts/seeds and raw chocolate powder), spinach feta triangles, etc

  • Fruit – use cookie cutters to put it in fancy shapes. Popcorn – you can color it and it’s still healthy. Savory muffins.

  • Watermelon and other fruits cut into fancy shapes with cookie cutters go down well.

  • Strawberry banana and pancake skewers kids will love these and pretty healthy too

  • Fruit dipped in chocolate is a winner with young and old.

  • Sushi is always popular and so healthy!

  • Dips and vegetable sticks. For something a little sweet try jelly cups – you can add an umbrella and make them very pretty.

  • ive seen a cake made out of a watermelon before which is a cool idea.

  • Dips…like hummus, beetroot dip, tzatziki with veggie sticks. Fruit salad is always yum. Fruit kebabs. Home made punch (non alcoholic) with fruit pieces in it. Sorbets. Home made ice cream. Have fun

  • Berries, fruit kababs, So many things you can do its fun getting creative!

  • Fruit salad on a stick was my boys favourite

  • mini quiche? sausage rolls with hidden veg? sandwiches and fruit platters

  • Kabana and cheese on toothpicks, sandwiches, fruit kebabs, decorating cucumber to make a person ie. add raisins for eyes, carrots for arms etc. They can be assembled using cream cheese. My kids love this and they don’t come home all hyperactive from the sugar and the artificial colourings.

  • Sandwiches, fruit kebabs, jelly in cup with fruit

  • Cubes of cheese and cherry tomatoes on toothpicks look cute especially if they’re sticking out of an orange with a funny face like a hedgehog on it. Get them to make silly face open sandwiches using grated cheese, alfalfa and carrot for hair, slices of baby cucumber and halved cherry tomatoes for eyes and skinny wedges of tomato for a mouth. Good luck!

  • Fruit kebabs look and taste great. Jelly with fruit pieces. Sushi.

  • You could also try Cheese and Apple Quesadillas, which are easy to make, and your daughter could help you make them. You can try them with a variety of fillings, and they’re also suitable for grown-ups. I always keep a packet of Tortillas in the pantry, and some cheese in the fridge, so if I’m caught short, I can whip these up in a few minutes.

  • Try making some fruit kebabs, and serve with plain or flavoured yoghurt for dipping. Sprinkle with a little toasted coconut to make it interesting. Use metal cookie cutters to cut vegetables into fun shapes, and serve with some healthy home-made dips.

  • Fruit kebabs are great. Air popped pop corn sprinkled with ciniamon!

  • Here is some other great ideas, you could make a few of these. There are some other great ideas on the site.
