Hello!

I am so indecisive and want to make the right decision when it comes to high chairs! I want to spend the money wisely. So please help me find a good high chair! My daughter is 13 months so preferably one that can be converted to a mini chair or used when they are a little older! Also a removable table and easy to clean seat! Thank you!

  • My son and daughter in law use a chair that straps onto a dining chair. It grows with them so less cost for regular replacements

  • I bought the ikea one and it lasted both of my kids. I didn’t bother with a booster so that part didn’t worry me that the IKEA one didn’t change.

  • Just the cheap ikea high chair is great, can go in the dishwasher!

  • Apologies as I forget the name. But you xan get high chairs that convert later on to a little chair & table. Such a great idea! They could be on baby buntings website or give google a squizz! :)

  • Loved our Babyhood Kaylula. Can be adjusted to child’s height and turns into chair.

  • I love the Ikea one! You literally see it everywhere lol. It’s cheap and easy to clean. It’s the white one with silver legs. Super easy to set up. It’s also quite universal for add ons like seat covers, tray mats etc.

  • I love the IKEA one – so easy to put together and clean!

  • I highly recommend investing in the Stokke Tripp Trapp. It promotes safe eating habits y following the 90/90/90 rule and grows with the child. Meaning it has an adjustable foot rest and holds up to 110kgs. We’ve been using ours for just over a month and I love it!

  • We find our Baccani Cibo Chair quite easy to clean and very versatile. We started using it when bub was 8 weeks old because it is also a rocking chair and it’s reclinable. Maybe not of much use for your toddler but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Ikea one

  • We bought a no name one from Big W, and it served us well through three kids. Don’t feel you need to spend a fortune.

  • I got the Steelcraft Messina, very easy to manavour as it has 4 wheels, you can adjust the height to suit where your sitting. I started of with a Tripp trap but ditched it as I found it to low for the table.

  • I have the Peg perego but I think the ikea one is by far the most efficient and portable

  • The wooden stokke one. There are cheaper version now like the Nanny Annie pictured below. Really versatile for all ages, and becomes a chair for when they are toddlers.

  • Stores should also be able to provide product information.

  • Always a good idea to check Choice and Product Reviews for product information and to read reviews.

  • I got a really nice adjustable but cheap high chair at target for my grandson.

  • I had the one from ikea. Cheap and very easy to clean. But it doesn’t convert to a toddler chair.

  • We have the Joie multiply 6 in 1, high chair also converts ???? i love my son is 16m and we still use it as a high chair so far. Well worth the money!!

  • I’m with the rest on Ikea. Cleaning is the biggest issue as they get it in any and every little groove.

  • Yes I must admit the Ikea High Chairs are amazing a good price and very sturdy
