Hello!

I am nervous about going overseas but would like to travel outside Australia. Where would you recommend that speaks English, is clean and friendly and not too expensive? Also what did you do/see in this place? Thank you :)

  • Hope you found yourself a nice overseas destination to travel.

  • Even with covid restrictions now easing, I feel it’s safer to holiday in my own state.

  • I would prefer to stay in Australia to be honest. If I had to choose overseas, I would pick New Zealand or England as I have family there so I would save on accommodation

  • England or New Zealand for me, mostly because I have family in both places so I would save money on accommodation. Personally, there’s lots to see here in Australia, holiday in your home country and help a fellow Aussie out

  • You can’t go wrong with New Zealand. It is an absolutely beautiful and friendly country.

  • Cook island. Beautiful place and not too far from Australia.

  • Why don’t you try a cruise first ?

  • Have a look on google or visit one of the travel bureaus for information

  • new Zealand, do the whole island, loved everything!

  • I went to Fiji and had a lovely time!! Beach, relax, nice people…

  • New Zealand, what a beautiful country and safe.

  • new Zealand is beautiful and it is close to home.

  • NZ will be a lovely place to travel.

  • New zealand would be beautiful

  • America or Canada are two great safe places for children to visit

  • I would go NZ! It is a tad expensive but the exchange rate is lower than here

  • New Zealand is lovely – lots of natural places to see. We went to a Kiwi Bird House, zoo, black sand beach, glow worm cave and there were heaps of things we didn’t get to see!

  • I’d go for a South East Asian country or NZ.
Most staff members at resorts in S.E.A are English Speakers & have most signs in large cities in English as well.
Or, NZ – what a fantastic place to take a holiday!!! Hire a car or van & just drive. My husband and I saw a fair bit of the South Island in only 4 days (obviously with kids, you’d need a little more time for rest stops etc but you’d definitely be able to see quite a lot in a week). Flights can be quite cheap (don’t go in snow season, go just after – Sept or Oct) and you’d get to see the rivers running quite high & fast.
    Good luck and enjoy!

  • Fiji, is great for just relaxing and everyone is so friendly. Turkey is great, you can see the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Gallipoli, Ephesus, there is so much to do there.

  • I just got back from a cruise me and my family went to Vanuatu with carnival cruise , it was my first cruise and I have to say it was great they took us to so many great places and the cruise is very clean and they all speak very good English.. I will deff be going back in a few yrs…
Also the food is great and most of them are free and also free orange juice and apple juice and lemon squash. Only have to pay for alcohol and soft drink but yeah it’s great u would live it I know I sure did
