Looking for some great “Date night” (at home) ideas for myself and my hubby, once the kids are asleep in bed. What do you do?

  • Have a dessert picnic and camp out in a tent in the backyard.

  • A nice meal and good movie is good. Or a couple of wines and board games, they’re always fun

  • We do this once a fortnight. It might be a DVD, gourmet platter, our favourite takeaway, even tried board games. The best thing is just talking to each other and reuniting as a couple.

  • A DVD you both love and some champagne or wine, kick back and chilli!

  • Wine and cheese, dvd and popcorn umm guess I’m not that exciting!

  • go to bed lol
    sleep!!!!

  • Give on another massages after a nice takeaway dinner, drinks, a romantic movie and a bubble bath.

  • we don’t have date nights :( movie and popcorn sounds good

  • Why not a scavenger hunt? Place clues around the house with where the next one will be. I did this once for an old boyfriend, the first clue was given him by his sister and the next one was in his glove box telling him to drive to my place. It ended up with a picnic on the floor.

Very cheap, very easy and you can have some champagne at the end!!!!!

  • Movie night with yummy snacks.

  • we watch a movie or tv series together and have snacks

  • Put on a movie you both like and watch it cuddled up on the couch like when you dated.
or take a bubble bath together.

  • Romantic movie and good wine!

  • Hubby and I hire a dvd. I usually make us a special adults only dessert – fondue, cheese platter, etc to eat together and we have some good snuggle time on the couch.

  • some great tips off other mums

  • have a fire or watch some movies!

  • how did your date night go

  • It really depends on what you like to do: movies, a few quiet drinks and some music, playing cards o board games, just chatting out in the back yard, maybe a fire and toasting marshmallows.

  • movies take out and some soft music

  • Movies, candlelight dinner and some good conversation
