I budget all through the year so I can spend a little extra at Christmas time. I have a Christmas account with my bank.

I dont have a Christmas budget exactly but I would try to save my money and still enjoy my Christmas making food is easy too

I don’t have a strict budget – I buy my kids one or two larger gifts then lots of smaller ones.

im not as bad as i could be, like i did most of the kids christmas shopping at the mid year and have had stuff on laybys but now its all here, wrapped and paid off i keep seeing little things, so my budget for the kids isnt to far out. I didnt spend it all on layby as i knew id do this!
we also use flybuys dollars for christmas food, i only figured this out recently so its only paid for all the meat, but still a big help

We make use of Flybuys dollars for food – we save the dollars throughout the year.

We have been so determined this year to have no waste at Christmas and only buy what we need. It is taking discipline to not be tempted but sticking it to it!

We are sticking to our budget this year only as we have decided to move house the week of Christmas.

I am doing quite well because I started buying gifts in October taking advantage of discounts. Shopping for food will still be expensive though.

So far so good but now is when it gets hard for me when I don’t need to get anything else but I keep having brilliant ideas.
