maybe try hairspray – that usually gets pen out – not sure if it would take colour out from the leather as well though.

The risk is indeed that you remove colour from your couch with any cleaner you use, in which case I would treat that spot with shoe polish or maybe shoe paint in the right colour and spray it of with water resistant spray

Oh no, good luck with that! I’ve noticed that a lot of furniture stores try to sell an extra warranty to remove stains and repair small damage. I’ve never got it before, but now with a baby I will consider getting it when we buy our next sofa.

Great advise, my little man has just decided to attack whole house with a pen including our new leather lounge. I’ll definitely be trying done if these out.

Depends on how long the biro has been on the leather , use either Hair Spray or Methylated Spirits but DO NOT rub,just dab or pat the area and it will slowly lift off but time is of the essence as the longer it is on there it soaks in, hope you can get it out

oopps white spirits can be purchased at Bunnings.

I use white spirits (dry cleaning fluid) for heaps of things.
You could try using the spirits on the tip of a cotton tip and tracing around the drawing. Once clean finish with a good leather deep moisturiser.
Try a small area first though.

I used a very small amount of gumption on a sponge and then wiped it clean. It worked!

We have a leather cleaner that removes dirt etc,maybe that would be a solution.

Whatever you choose to try, make sure you patch test in an inconspicuous spot first in case it causes discolouration

Spray some hairspray onto it then wipe off with a damp cloth

I would ring a furniture store for suggestions on how to remove the biro. No harsh chemicals that may damage and discolour the couch.

Try baby wipes

You could check with the manufacturer and see what type of leather it is and what they recommend. Apparently you can also use protector cream that might help in future

Try dishwashing liquid on a cloth or baby oil.
