Just incorporate as much as possible veggies in pasta sauce and soup and pie’s, you can add veggies in mince as well and I like to use lentil or chickpea pasta and flours. Add veggies in your cake, muffins and cookies , so much possibilities !
Does he go to daycare at all? If so ask what he does there, also you maybe giving him the same food he had for lunch. Will he eat any If you give him some off your plate? It may be an inconvenient but good way to get him to eat some. Perhaps only give him one or two different ones in the beginning. e.g. I have one that used to eat corn but not peas.
JUst keep trying! Never force them, just keep trying them with different foods. They go through stages – some days they like something, some days they dont! Also try hiding veggies in things like bolognese, smoothies etc
We’ve always use the KISS test when trying new foods. You smell it first. Then you give it a kiss (lips slightly parted) then we have a tiny taste and always let them spit it out. Never force them to eat anything.
Or we do a platter with different foods, some they eat already and some new ones and we all sit down together and have little tasters.
Doesn’t always work but just sometimes you’ll get a little win, making it all worthwhile.
Just get them familiar with the veggies. Have them near him, you eat heaps of them too. Get them to explore the vegetables. Lick them, kiss them. But dont force
