How do I get silicone gel stains out of a carpet?

Hello!

Some silicone gel from a hairbrush grip has leaked out onto my carpet. I was unaware of where it came from at first. I’ve managed to pick off lumps of the gel but the carpet is stained underneath. Any suggestions to remove this stain please.

I would be getting professional carpet cleaners in. You don’t want to completely ruin your carpet but trying different home remedies

Did you ever get the stain out? The same has just happened to me but onto my pram fabric grrrr! And nothing’s getting it off

i have had this sort of thing happen before but it was on a wipeable surface. hope you can get it out!
