How do I make gum nut people?

Hello!

My granddaughter saw a site on TV on how to make gumnut people using gum nuts, sticks & rubber bands, can anyone help me find how to do it please?

We have a collection of Gum Nuts so I would be happy with any suggestions. Even to make Xmas decorations with them! Thanks!
