I’ve all my decorations with blue and green and a bit of silver, not to full, not too empty. I’ve done the natural theme in the past with cinnamon sticks and rope
We go with traditional baubles, tinsel & lights but also have decorations the kids make every year. It adds a personal touch to the tree & the kids love having their work on display!
we have a range of handmade christmas decorations the kids have made in previous years or make that year, we also have one special ornament we let the kids pick out each year and as they grow they add more ornaments to the tree and the rest are Disney and characters I’ve picked up cheap at the after Christmas sales
I love all of the old passed down Christmas decorations and the ones from the kids. Some of the old decorations have seen better days – but they are just so special. Our tree is very heavy every year with decorations!
We generally use the same Christmas tree with the same decorations (mostly red and gold) plus one new decoration that I buy for my daughter every year.
We go with what we had last year and a few items made or purchased this year. Every year we buy a few new things and discard old broken ones. Never had a theme as such, just a lot of wonderful memories from previous years that we enjoy adding to as a family.
I mostly use the decorations my kids have made over the years, they’re a bit tatty, but I like them I add some tinsel and coloured baubles to brighten it up
