Paste the photo on Word Art and you can adjust the settings. I got a bit stuck and my son assisted me with it . Google might help you too .

We have a pop up when we try to send pics. It asks if we would like to shrink, enlarge or keep the size the same

After cropping, assuming the review is in word, you need to condense the picture and remove the cropped part (if you select pic there is a button on the tab that you cropped it in. You can condense the file more than once. This reduces file size.

Cropping will not make the size smaller; you need to change the size of the photo. Look at your editing options; you should be able to decrease the size. Good Luck.
