If for example your baby is chewing on their sleeve,you can put a bad taste on their sleeve so that they know not to go there again as it will have the bad taste

Be persistent and give her a cold tether the one that goes in the freezer or maybe give her bonjela these things may help

You can now buy teething necklaces or sensory chew toys. There are so many types, and they are mostly rubber. I got one from a newsagent, but I know they are online and can come gender specific. So my son had a robot to chew on.
Many kids on the autism spectrum use these, so maybe look at one of the ASD sites?

You can buy a product “BITTER ALICE” from a pharmacy, it has a bitter taste and is generally a good deterrent. It can be painted onto the cot and other furniture. As for her brothers toys keep them out of her reach. She will grow out of this, it is how she explores by mouthing objects and has discovered chewing and must gain some pleasure from chewing. Constantly remove her and give her fruit or something she can chew.

Now I know one of ours has had a fascination for ice and always wants it if we have any. Went out to dinner one night and he demanded ice. We were lucky the bar staff gave us a dish of small ice cubes for him to chew on.

Only give her the things she is aloud to chew on, get cot rail shield that you can buy online or at baby stores and ikea. Get your son to put his toys away and keep her in her own area of the house. Also try and take the pain away with a natural Bauer remedy. It really works. This might stop the need to chew as she won’t have pain. I hope you find a solution soon.

My cot had teeth marks all along the top too, I don’t know how to stop it but, try rusks, carrot sticks (watch to make sure they don’t choke though) face washers out of the freezer along with teething rings.

Most kids chew on their cot railings and as long as you are not using an old 2nd hand cot with lead paint then i think all should be fine as far as the cot is concerned.
I wonder if there it something that you could brush over the stair railings that would not hurt her but would take really horrible so that she would stop chewing on them. Might be worth doing some research.

I’ve always found teething rusks very useful

I agree that teething rusks are a good idea but not all kids like them. And bonjella is good as well.

I cant remember what they are called, but you can buy small blankets-more like a scarf size, that have rubber chew corners. They might stop the blanket chewing.
