  • I spray with bleach, leave for ten to fifteen minutes, and then rinse off. It gets rid of mold but sometimes the soap scum needs a bit of elbow grease to get it off.

  • I used gumption on the tiles and vinegar and water on the glass. This seems to work a treat. I it gets really bad then I use a store bought bleach cleaner. Spray and leave it on for 10 minutes then rinse it off.

  • I keep a cheap chamois in there and wipe over at the end of every day it reduces the water marks by 99% and helps stop the mould as it’s drier

  • Giving it a quick wipe every time you have a shower works wonders.

  • I use a spray bottle and spray bleach around the shower and then rinse off.

  • Keeping on top of it after a good clean every couple of days!

  • I love the sponge erasers that you buy at chips as chips…. no chemicals needed

  • I’ve heard if you keep a window squidgee in the shower and wipe it down after each use it helps it stay new looking

  • I clean my shower while i am having a shower. I keep a scourer on the shower floor and use my feet to scrub. it’s very nice and easy.

  • No easy answer for this one :-( I love soap bars so my shower is always full of soap scum. I scrub once a week with Jif and sometimes add a bit of bleach onto the sconge as well (cuts through everthing) I have also bought one of those removable shower heads which makes it easier to hose everything down once I have scrubbed it all

  • I was told about Gumption so i’ll be trying that but I used bam bleach and a scourer.

  • I love bi carb soda and or magic eraser. .. depending on how dirty. But they both work like magic

  • Once you have got it clean, give it a coat of turtle wax car polish make sure you coat the entire surface (Don’t do the floor) and the water and soap will bead on it and not stick!
I purchased a window squeegee from the cheap shops (around $3.000 and wipe the shower after every use using the rubber on the glass and sponge on walls. This means i only have to scrub my shower every 6 to 12 months dependant on use of squeegee. It stays hygenic and clean. I was given this tip from a commercial cleaner who specialises in builder and bond cleans.

  • I spray it with a vinegar, water and eucalyptus mix. It keeps the mould away and cuts through the soap scum

  • If you have the time and can wipe over the shower after each use then it stays clean for longer and really doesnt take as much effort or scrubbing then if you leave it.

  • We wipe down the wall tiles and screen with a chamois after each shower and have found that there is a lot less soap scum than before we started doing this — the only thing we need to scrub is the floor really and the rest of the shower pretty much just wipes clean with minimal effort and some bleach.

  • Wipe with Jif a few minutes before showering and when you go in give it a good scrub and your done.

  • I’ve tried just about every chemical on the market as well as the home made stuff and find Gumption works for me.
