My eldest was around 13 months.
Baby number 2 was around 1 year and Baby number 3 said she had had enough at 9 months old. One day she just stopped and refused any more. That was a painful time for me but we got there in the end. Not fun

I breastfed my 1st child until she’s around 4 months old as I have to get back to work (office-based).

2nd child, I’m already working as a Virtual Assistant and home-based so I was able to breastfeed for longer. I eventually have to stop breastfeeding when bub’s around 10 months, when we got a big surprise (I’m pregnant with our 3rd!) and my milk supply’s eventually vanished.

I plan to breastfeed my 3rd child for as long as I can and as long as baby wants.

By the way, any nursing pads suggestions?
I’ve used this one before https://www.newbeginnings.com.au/products/disposable-bamboo-nursing-pads-40-pack and they worked great for me. I’m open for other options though.

22 month old is currently still breastfeeding. My oldest stopped about 2 1/2.

Ive only just stopped maybe a month ago so about 16m is when I stopped. I kinda just got to the point where I wanted to have ny body back! I think I did well ????????

I breastfed my eldest son until he was 2, same with 2nd son. My youngest was only breastfed for roughly a year as he was very unsettled. I was advised by my midwife that he had bad indigestion and to put him on the bottle but that didn’t calm him. We tried everything and couldn’t find a solution until he turned 3 and we took him to a paediatrician where he was diagnosed as Autistic.

As long as you wean before school, go for it as long as you want! You can only feed at home if you prefer? It is historically normal to feed up to 6 or 7 when their nose changes to ensure proper nutrition.

I breast fed until 2 years of age but was only doing a night feed for bed for about 8 months. Then just stopped x

I breastfed all 3 of my older kids until the age of one when they self weaned. My baby now is almost 6 months and I’ll probably stop around the same time.

I only did 3weeks. Props to you for going that long

I breastfed my daughter until she was four, I was a first time mum and before she was born said i was never going to breastfeed so its ironic really that when she was born she crawled straight up my chest .

My goal was to breastfeed for 12 months and we actually kept going until my daughter was 2 and half years old. She kept wanting it. It was tricky to get her to stop. In the end I wasn’t producing much milk and it was a comfort thing more than anything.

13 months

I unfortunately couldn’t breastfeed from day dot. I mix fed in hospital and for the first 2 weeks, but for my sons and my own sanity, we went purely to formula fed. Unfortunately my supply never fully came ☹️

7 months- I set a goal for 6 and was happy to have one more wind down month

Both my older boys were breastfed for a little more than 2 years. And even then, they werent ready to let it go. It was heartbreaking when we stopped. Still feeding my 2months old now.

Almost 2 years

Not as long as you. I have four kids and the longest was 5 months but I never had a great supply of milk.

7 months, we stopped when bubs wanted to chew my boobs rather than drink, i wasnt pushing through that pain when he was already on solids and super chompy on everything.

All my kids have been very different, 2 months, 6 months and still breast feeding at 12 months old, have tried to get her on formula but she isn’t interested at all. I just figure she will stop when she is ready.
