First of all there is no “should” or “shouldn’t” in my opinion. Each of our kids are different.
Between the ages of 1 and 2, most kids need about 11–14 hours of sleep a day, including one or two daytime naps. At around 18 months, or sometimes sooner, most toddlers condense their two naps into one afternoon nap. A toddler who fights the morning nap is probably ready for just an afternoon nap.
My daughter is 17 months and is hard to make her sleep during the day and when she does I can’t let her sleep longer than 30 minutes otherwise she will go sleep after 10pm.
It looks quite normal to me. My daughter was doing exactly the same at that age. Then at 1 year and 7 months old she stopped napping altogether and slept 12 hours in a row during the night instead of the previous 10 hours.
