Hello!

How much do you spend on a new season’s wardrobe? Do you have a set budget?

  • I’m trying not to buy anything new but rather repair and get more use out of what I already have.

  • I usually look for what I need (eg are my white t-shirts from last year grey?), or for one or two strategic pieces to refresh my look. I don’t spend a lot.

  • i just add a few items to my wardrobe each season.

  • I just accumulate items when they are on sake throughout the season. I don’t purposely go and buy a whole new word robe at once. So around $150 over the course of the season on staples (tops and pants). More is spent on dresses, so maybe $250 all up, per season.

  • I don’t plan a new season wardrobe… I just buy a piece here and there as I need it / can afford it.
I’m not fussed on keeping up to date with fashion etc

  • I like sales so most of the time if I find something I need I will buy ahead of time and these days sales are on nearly everyday so we don’t have worry too much .

  • I don’t generally shop for seasons because if you have warm clothes they are for cooler days and light clothes are for warmer days. Thermal underwear is great as it can cater for all seasons if you need a light or heavy layer. Where I LIVE WE HAVE 5 SEASONS IN 1 DAY!
I TELL MY LOVELY CUSTOMERS THAT IF YOU HAVE A FEW GOOD ITEMS SAY A NICE PAIR OF LONG BLACK PANTS, a dressy black skirt and a smart pair of jeans you can mix and match them in so many co-ordinations and create lots of different styles with a few different tops and you can and will look a million dollars. You do not have tp spend a lot to look and feel good. When I look at the prices of clothes in V ogue I nearly have heart failure. Fancy forking out 1500 dollars for a skirt or a pair of pants! The fashion company I belong to has gorgeous clothes of extremely high quality and their dearest item would not be over $160. They have a bargain website where you can get tops for as little as $8 . If you would like to know more about Postie Fashions pm me. I am only too happy to help.

  • New seasons wardrobe?!?! So every Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn you head off clothes shopping? Wow, not something I’ve ever done. If I need a new item of clothing, I’ll buy it, but I don’t shop for seasons

  • When I worked full time I would spend about $500 easily now it’s like $100…

  • Depends on the season really… jeans and winter stuff is usually more expensive than dresses and swimming stuff so i try to get one new item each payday & not pick too many really out there trendy items so i can still get wear out of them following years too

  • I only buy new seasons clothes for my kids if they have grown out of their previous ones. I go through all their clothes and sort what no longer fits, what does and then make a list of what they need. I will only buy them 3-5 outfits. Being at school they only wear other clothes on weekends and holidays.
As for me and my hubby. I cannot remember the last time I bought us new season clothes. I buy us clothes when its needed, not because its a new season! This year I will need to buy myself some new summer clothes and that is only because I have lost a lot of weight this year!

  • I can’t even remember the last time I bought myself new clothes, would have to be at least 2 years ago…

  • Not that much I normally but for the girls!

  • I just buy clothes as i need them as im unable to afford to change my styles with the seasons. Maybe when i go back to work when all the kids are at school i will be able to treat myself then.

  • buy staples and then just accessorize for the season

  • I buy cheap but good quality versatile pieces that can be worn again and again day and night such as a black jacket black skirt jeans and some nice tops and dresses you can’t go wrong and that’s what i virtually do every year

  • I usually buy a new top or two each season but the rest only if I need it. No set budget.

  • Not a lot, at the moment. I usually splurge on one good piece, and buy half a dozen cheaper items.

  • I look for end of seasons bargains for the next year, as I’m not one to buy on trend things.

  • I more have a set of particular items I need to get and try and just budget for them so I don’t buy impulsively. It also helps going through my wardrobe and thinking about what matches what I already have.
