Not until they were weaned from breastfeeding. And then only when I had to and only with my sister or my mother in law. I didn’t trust anyone else, not while they were babies

My kids were 3 and 4yrs old when we left Northern Ireland. Having not the best relationship with my mum in law and no other family there, we never left them with her. Here in Australia I had the best neighbour ever and I left them with her. Also with my now 4,5yr old girl with Down syndrome, I felt I could leave her with my neighbour when she was 9 months or so for short periods of time.
