I noticed the frogs around us disappeared for a while, made me a bit sad. They are gradually returning which is fantastic. Apparently it’s a good sign the environment is on the improve when the frogs start to return. We didn’t do anything to encourage them, or discourage them, they just disappeared and then returned of their own accord

Make sure the pond has a shallow planted edge and safe places to hide – try to connect/get info from a local nature group as they will be able to advise about best options to attract local frogs and what local species need.
