Yes on the one hand I would do a lot of research on this as well, websites, public opinion, social media experiences & reviews. At the same time I would go to my trusted GP as well and ask for a referral to a good and trusted plastic surgeon.

I personally haven’t but I have begun doing some of my own research and I have been told to read lots of reviews of different surgeons prior to committing to one. Go to their websites, social media pages and any public forums where you can get honest and genuine feedback. Look at their work, ask for before and after pictures and ask for their credentials too. A friend had implants and the one tip she gave me was to shop around so you can avoid the cheapest surgeons on the market, they’re cheap for a reason and when you consider the procedure then the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ rings very true. It seems that a lift can cost anywhere between $4500-$16,000 depending where you live and who you see. Recovery sounds fairly straight forward (from what i’ve read), although like any operation, you will have some downtime of about 1-2 weeks depending on how active you are and how much rest you can get.

I haven’t had a lift (yet) but I have had implants. I would recommend checking out plastic surgery hub on insta. Have a chat to the girls on there as they know all the best surgeons and can recommend someone specific to your situation. They feature heaps of surgeons but only ones they recommend. Good luck x
