How to get ink out of the dryer?

Hello!

Help! My DH did the washing over the weekend, and he accidentally left a pen in one of the pockets, and now my dryer is covered in blue ink. Is there any way to removing this? Any tips would be a huge help. Thanks

I would first try Eucalyptus oil. When that doesn’t have effect try Rubbing Alcohol or Methylated Spirits

never heard of this happening before not leaving pen in pocket
but ink in dryer so thought about it wet rags or cloths with bleach on them too
Is an idea to try then spin them around and see if thy ink absorb for you
Let me know as just an idea,so would if works it might help others clear

Hairspray on a cloth or wd-40, works on clothing may work on the dryer

Oh dear. Its easy to do, but such a mess to clean up. Contacting the manufacturer might help because I imagine running the dryer will warm and melt the ink down again and dirty your clothes. Good luck.

Eucalyptus oil on a rag should remove the ink & then wipe with a clean damp cloth.
