You might be eligible for assistance with a job network agency if you are on income support payments. I would suggest have a friend look at your resume and look online for jobs. Have a look at jobs you want to do and check what they ask for – if you don’t have the certificates consider studying. Check your local shops too – a lot of places still put ‘help wanted’ signs up. Or ask directly. If you don’t have any recent work experience – some volunteer work might help you get a referee and current experience – good luck!
Build a support network, reach out to friends and family who may be able to help out. Find a good daycare in your area or before/after school care. Office jobs are usually Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm which makes it much easier to juggle around. A lot of businesses have started focusing on flexible working arrangements so you maybe able to work more suitable hours or work from home. Good Luck.
This is a tough one. For starters, if your kids aren’t in school, you’ll need a child care agency. If your kids are at school, you’ll need a job that fits around school hours. Good luck working it all out
