  • Aw it’s not that hard. When you gather around your child’s classroom you could just give a friendly nod or a greeting to other parents. Observe which child belongs to which parents. Next you ask about their child’s name and how they like school / their new teacher. Often these chats go about our children and teacher in the beginning. When it clicks between parents, you talk automatically about more.


  • I’m so scared of this – that other parents will be stand offish. But yeah I guess the more you talk – the more you have to talk about.


  • Usually it’s just general chit chat – eg how’s your day been?
